Besides Hunter X Hunter,I haven’t really ventured deeply into adventure genres yet,but so far,this series was extremely thrilling for me. Made In Abyss had the suspense in every episode. You just feel a fake sense of hope in-between episodes and that’s when the real shit happens. Made In Abyss offers a story of adventure and friendship between Reg and Riko and makes us see the challenges that they overcome in order to help Riko to achieve her dreams. There are some scenes that might be extremely disturbing yet emotional,for example in episode 11 and 13,but that just gives you the idea of how far the series is willing to go to make it good. This series gives us the lesson that adventure comes with a price. Overall,I would say the story plot for this series was pretty damm good. A 9/10 for the story in general.

Ahh,the animation…
I have no idea how to start but it was definitely a hell of a masterpiece.The background is similar to what WorldEnd’s might offer,with incredibly detailed designs. The Chibi style of design was also pretty good and felt fitting to the story itself. What a wondrous piece of 10/10 animation.

The openings and the endings were not that bad,but I want to highlight how MARVELLOUS the Osts were. “Tomorrow” and “Hanezeve” was extremely beautiful and really highlights the show’s adventure aspects. I’m absolutely amazed and feel that only a 10/10 would be right for the song.

Overall,this was a 9/10 series that I will definitely recommend people to watch,just be reminded that there are sure to be disturbing scenes.
